  My Mum, brother and I arrived for lunch to celebrate my birthday today. We were very impressed with our meals. Really nicely presented and tasty. There was a mix up... read more with our sweet order, however when the sweets arrived eventually, they were lovely. The waiter very kindly explained that there had been a mix up with the order. We explained that we realised the hotel was busy in the dining room and I believe there was a wedding on that day. The waiter explained that we would not be charged for our sweets due to the delay. We thought that was so kind. As the food in the restaurant is so good, we will of course be back. Thank you to all the hotel staff for a lovely lunch.

The saxophone player was a lovely welcoming touch and it was clear to see the effort the owners put in to make it a memorable Mother’s Day meal. Thank you 😊 looking forward to our next visit.

  Dinner with family. Delicious and large plateful. Macaroni was lovely as was steak pie and Anstruther battered haddock. Great prices. Would definitely recommend and we would return again.

It's also a hearty, cosy, welcoming entrance to step into!! Lovely old worlde decor, sweeping staircase and gorgeous big fireplace too.
